Our journey into the captivating world of coffee began in 2005 when our founder, Chee, first immersed himself in the captivating realm of the third-wave coffee movement. A total of 18 years of unwavering love, dedication, and a deep expertise in the art of coffee crafting, he is thrilled to invite you to savour the fruits of this passion.

The Canvas Town Coffee experience is one that's been brewing since 2018. It all started in a cosy co-roasting space in Coburg, but now we call Port Melbourne home, where the magic happens (almost) every Tuesday.

We're firm believers in the hands-on craftsmanship that makes coffee truly special. Therefore, each specialty-grade green bean variety is personally handpicked and curated by our founder, ensuring that only the highest quality beans find their way into your cup. These treasures are then transformed through our meticulous roasting process into either exquisite Single Origins or blended into our award-winning Seasonal Espresso - Placebo.
